India Tour of Australia 2011-12 Match Fixtures

Last time India were in Australia, it was a firework of a series with some controversies and plenty of high quality cricket. Aussies retained the Border-Gavaskar tests trophy but India went on to win the Commonwealth Bank tri-series. India 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup Champions

The magnificent Team India kept its cool to beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in the final of the World Cup 2011 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Saturday. Indian skipper MS Dhoni (91) hit the winning runs by swatting a huge six over the long-on boundary. Yuvraj Singh (21) also remained unbeaten with the Indian skipper at the end. Raina To Lead India in Zimbabwe

Suresh Raina will lead a second-string India squad for the ODI tri-series in Zimbabwe and the Twenty20s which follow, with Virat Kohli as his deputy. Among the first-choice players who are either rested or injured are regular captain MS Dhoni, Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag, Zaheer Khan, Ashish Nehra, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh and Praveen Kumar. Mashrafe Mortaza Named in Preliminary Squad For Tri-Series

Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Mortaza is set to make his return from injury after being named in a preliminary squad for next month’s home tri-series featuring Sri Lanka and India. Mortaza, who picked up the injury in the West Indies, missed the home ODIs against Zimbabwe in October and November after failing to recover in time from a knee surgery.
